Ketatosis pilaris or chicken rash is a condition that leads to rough, acne like bumps to appear in patches, usually on the buttocks, thighs, arms and cheeks. I designed this lens to provide general information on chickens and chicken care for anyone looking for it. But, you should know that I do this for a living and this website generates some revenue through affiliate marketing.
I warm a sterilized pan and melt coconut oil, add soy lecithin and then vinegar then I whip it up into KP treatment a smooth creme then cool and bottle it up.. I have been using now for 4 days.. I am so impressed!

Just recently seemingly overnight her whole face became covered with it. She was becoming quite anxious about it so we tried a few different things which only seemed to inflame it. I am treating my kp with high ALAs from plant sources in combination with an alpha hydrox scrub in the shower and topical treatment of apple cider vinegar afterward, and my kp is almost entirely gone.
Keratosis pilaris, a pretty common skin condition, it can be difficult to get rid of. My skin care routine is pretty simple-> I dry brush my entire body before getting in the shower, and then generously apply coconut oil to my skin while it’s still soaking wet, even before toweling off, so the moisture is locked-in.
